如果攻擊太輕,不能稱之為攻擊;如果冒犯太輕,不能稱之為冒犯;如果混亂太優雅,不能稱之為混亂;如果危險太舒適,不能稱之為危險。生活持續進行,時間繼續流逝,我們如何面對痛苦和傷害?《擴香》的表演以微小的進攻來挑戰生活問題中關於輕與重的界限。我們如何拿捏重量?
If the attack is too light to call an attack, if the offence is too light to call it offence, if the mess is too elegant to call it mess, if the danger is too comfort to call it danger. Life keeps going, time keep running, how we deal with pain and hurt? “Perfume” performance work on tiny offence to challenge the boundary between the light and heavy of life issue. How heavy should be can cause effect?
《飄浮身體 – 擴香》持續探索有關閾限空間的研究。本件現地行以陌生化的手法重新演繹日常行為,在展場創造氣味與剩餘物的輕盈介入。行為者坐在挑高八公尺的高處吃橘子,並隨手將果皮一片片丟下,果皮不經意地飄落在觀眾周邊與身上,隱喻生命中看似微不足道卻持續進行的侵擾,因其曖昧的尺度與邊界,難以拿捏其輕與重。
Floating Body – Perfume continue working on the practice about liminal space about skylight space in the heigh space. This site-specific performance uses the approach of defamiliarization to reinterpret everyday actions, subtly intervening with smell and remnants in the exhibition space. The performer, seated eight meters high, eats a tangerine and casually tosses the peels, which drift onto the audience and surroundings. The peels symbolize seemingly insignificant yet persistent disturbances in life, their ambiguous scale blurring the line between lightness and weight.
