1992年出生於臺北萬華區。
我主要從事跨學科的行爲與繪畫創作，以生態女性主義的地理學視角處理空間與身體的『多維尺度』關係。關注少數與個體之於群體與大眾的交互關係，以及閾限空間與全景效應中的視角與地景，透過疏遠、憂慮、沈默等表露嘗試描述人性本質與其矛盾。
我將空間視為隱喻，試圖揭示中心與邊陲的互動關係，運用行為者的身體去經驗、建構、重構經驗空間當中的地理景觀。作為行動者和有機建造者，身體的『親臨』做為採集資訊的必要條件，經由介入現實事件回應場域中的權力結構、監視機制和女性凝視，以此為基礎，我於2015年起持續發展以閾限空間為基礎的「飄浮身體」系列行為。此外，自2017年起，發展出感官地理製圖學的「身體景觀」系列繪畫。
近兩年於臺北與歐洲移動創作，透過持續的書寫與介入空間，我在遊走、定位、製圖的過程，關心人類的生存現實與焦慮，重新審視現實，質疑場域結構與其潛在阻力，回看資本主義結構如何形塑城市生活並對其文化現象進行批判，作品呈現媒介包括文件、裝置、錄像與行為。

About
Yi Ting Hsu (b. 1992 in Taiwan) is a visual artist recently works between Taipei and Prague. She works on multi-disciplinary approach, using poem, painting, performance to create installations and happenings.
In my practices, I work with multidisciplinary approaches, primarily work through performance and painting. I approach the intricate relationship between space and the body through the lens of ecofeminist geography, exploring its multidimensional aspects. My work delves into the interactions between minority individuals and the collective masses, as well as the perspectives and landscapes within liminal spaces and overview effects. Through expressions of detachment, anxiety, silence, and more, I endeavor to articulate the essence of human nature and its inherent contradictions.
I regard space as a metaphor, striving to unveil the interactive dynamics between the center and the periphery. Leveraging the body of the performer, I seek to experience, construct, and reconstruct geographical landscapes. As an actor with agency but also an organic builder, I consider physical presence a vital component for gathering information. By intervening in real-life events, I respond to power structures, surveillance mechanisms, and the female gaze within different contexts, aiming to expose latent power relations. Based on the context, I have continuously developed my “Floating Bodies” series performances based on liminal spaces since 2015. Additionally, starting in 2017, I have embarked on the “Bodyscapes” series of paintings within the realm of sensory geography cartography.
Recently, I have been working and moving between Taipei and Europe. Through ongoing writing and interventions in spaces, during my wondering, positioning, and mapping processes, I direct my focus towards the human existential reality and anxiety. I constantly reexamine reality, question the structural elements of different environments and their potential resistance, and reflect on how capitalist structures shape urban life while critically examining its cultural phenomena. My works encompass various mediums, including documentation, installations, videos, and performance.
